THE GUARDIA Civil is to hold an advisory session for citizens to help protect them and their property against robberies, burglaries and other crimes. The Guardia Civil’s Security Master Plan includes a series of lectures at various venues in the largest of the municipalities of the Mancommunidad Vega Baja designed to instruct residents on how to prevent the most common crimes.
The talk in San Miguel de Salinas takes place at the Social Centre next Tuesday, 13th December at 5pm. The talk will be given by San Miguel’s Guardia Civil Lieutenant, José Antonio Gómez Alonso. He will be discussing security at home and outside, at the bank and on the internet as well as explaining how criminals commonly act and offering security advice and measures to be taken to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Jeanette Lopez will be on hand to translate for English-speaking residents.
