Anti-establishment groups on the Rise in the US says Report | Gerald Celente Trends Blog
Mark Mason : .... For the past 40 years government and both political parties have selected policies, implemented policies that have economically hurt… the lower 90 percent really of the population of the US have suffered. Benefits have been flat, pay has been flat, benefits have been taken away, jobs have been taken away. There are real reasons, valid legitimate reasons for the 99 percent of the population to be very angry with government policies and politicians. Where we are struggling with this as a nation is like - What is the explanation for this? And it really is the media - the corporate media that fuels and fans the flame of racism and attacking the government as bad. It really goes back to Ronald Reagan and his open attack on government and that government regulation is bad. So, this is misinformation. We have a propaganda system in the US; we don’t have a democracy; people know we don’t have a democracy; we don’t have a free media; we do not have a free press. It’s all controlled by six corporations and these are corporations that make billions - vast sums of money and they don’t want people to understand that the system is rigged with respect to corporate power and so they promulgate the right wing on Fox News and on talk radio to basically attack the government because they want to reduce government regulation so they can increase their profits. The last thing the media wants is for the people to understand exactly how this system works and how we’ve been screwed during the last 40 years.
