Corzine appears before third congressional committee

Former Gov. Jon Corzine disputed a charge today, saying he had no knowledge and gave no instruction to MF Global employees to lend customer funds to the company itself.
MF Global’s collapse is the focus of three congressional committees, all of which subpoenaed Corzine to testify. Appearing this afternoon before a subcommittee of the House Financial Services Committee, Corzine confronted an allegation that arose on Tuesday at the end of a hearing of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
